Email forwarding explained briefly

With an e-mail forwarding, you forward an e-mail to the e-mail inbox of another e-mail address. This makes the forwarded email available in the inbox of the mailbox to which you forward the email.

There are two types of email forwarding:
You can forward emails that you have already received and read to another email address one at a time. But you can also forward any email that you have already sent or placed in a folder of your email inbox.
You can also set up automatic email forwarding: This means that any incoming email will be automatically forwarded to the email inbox of another email address.

You can forward an email as many times as you want – to any email box.
Depending on the settings of your e-mail program, the attachments of an e-mail are automatically forwarded as well. A more detailed description can be found here:
